Land Development Engineering

Berkeley Homes, Parker, Colorado
Horseshoe Ridge

RGA provided construction administration for a 33-lot subdivision with 10 sub-consultants. From pre-construction to warranty acceptance. The services of the RGA team included: scheduling, contractor service agreement, payment application and coordination with the Town of Castle Rock and the Horseshoe Ridge Metropolitan District.

Castle Rock Development Company, Castle Rock, Colorado
​Meadows Town Center

This project included approximately 420 single-family and 2,402 multi-family dwelling units with 23 acres of commercial development. The RGA team provided engineering services for all civil design from sketch plan through construction document approval. Design challenges included balancing earth work activities over 1,200,000 cubic yards of material, connection of major infrastructure utilities through the property and incorporating a meandering drainageway.

Meadows Filing No. 20

The RGA team provided the design of 298 acres that included preliminary and final plat, construction drawings, and a regional drainage channel and 48 ac-ft. regional detention ponds.

The RGA team designed and obtained approval of a 128-unit development, consisting of quad-plex units and an open space park and play area.

Meadows Filing No. 20 - Phase 2, Area 2, Plat Amendment 7, Oakwood Cluster West

The RGA team designed the re-plat and construction plans for 56 lots of residential cluster homes within the Meadows No. 20 development. This project consisted of the re-use and development of previously installed infrastructure, adjacent to a regional detention pond.

The RGA team provided lot design and grading layout for 11 high-end luxury home pads.

Century Communities, LLC, Douglas County, Colorado
​​Plum Creek Commercial Filing No. 1

RGA completed the utility design for a condominium development of 179 units on 10 acres, which tied in to existing streets, water, sanitary and storm systems. 

City of Sheridan, Colorado
Sheridan Redevelopment Authority/River Point at Sheridan

RGA completed application review for zoning and platting of River Point at Sheridan, a 140-acre site.  The preliminary PUD zoning and preliminary plat had been approved by the city prior to our team joining the staff. We worked with City staff and the applicants to ensure that the final PUD zoning and plat documents were in compliance with the City Code and with best engineering practices.  The RGA team made presentations to the Planning Commission and the City Council regarding approval of the final documents, including recommendations for conditions of approval to ensure that the project could continue to move forward in accordance with the applicant’s schedule. 

Colorado Amateur Motor Sports Association, Arapahoe County, Colorado
High Plains Raceway

RGA preapred preliminary development plans, final development plans and drainage reports for the revitalization of the Interstate Kennel Club dog racing facility into a facility for motor sports, concerts and events. In addition, RGA designed the permanent water and sanitary sewer treatment facilities to modernize the dated infrastructure.

Legends Club Subdivision

The RGA team provided design and grading layout for a minor development with four single-family home lots. We provided Construction Drawings, a Phase III Drainage Report, Grading, Erosion, and Sediment Control Report and plans and assisted with coordination with Douglas County.

RGA completed the design of a 38-lot subdivision that included a water system, irrigation system sanitary sewer, storm sewer and drainage system with and outfall into Alkali Creek.

RGA assisted with several filings of single-family residential development including the preparation of overlot grading plans, final plats, drainage studies, floodplain determinations, sanitary sewer systems, storm drain systems, drainageway outfall structures, concrete box culverts, street plans and water system analysis and design for over 2,800 lots.

Family Real Estate Holdings/2675 South Raritan Street

RGA completed a site design for an automotive transfer facility that consisted of a large building, extensive parking area and a series of earth retaining walls. 

King's Point Development Company, Arapahoe County, Colorado
​King's Point Filing No. 2 and 4

​RGA provided the design for 353 units on approximately 224 acres including the preparation of a contextual site plan, final plat, construction drawings, streets, water distribution, sanitary sewer collection, storm sewer systems and drainage way improvements.

Lennar Homes, Castle Rock, Colorado
Red Hawk Filing No.3, Phase 5

RGA assisted Lennar Homes with drainage, utility, and traffic conformance letters, updated construction plans, GESC report and GESC plans for the development of Phase 5 within Red Hawk Filing No. 3. RGA also assisted with the original work in 2005, which consisted of a Final Drainage Report for 103 acres and approximately 193 single-family and multi-family homes. The development includes a regional drainage system comprised of storm sewer and five detention ponds.

Lennar Homes, Castle Rock, Colorado
Red Hawk Filing No. 3

The RGA team prepared plats and final construction drawings for this 195-lot single-family detached subdivision. The project included several difficult aspects such as encroachment on a Town-owned golf course, application for Federal Emergency Management Association floodplain revision, mountainous terrain, and extensive coordination with adjacent developments for utility connections and design of interconnecting roadways. 

Lincoln Park Metropolitan District, Douglas County, Colorado
Engineering and Construction Administration Services

RGA provided engineering and construction administration services for a mix of single and multi-family residential, commercial and office industrial development on 1,600 acres. Design included the preparation of the master infrastructure plan; design and construction administration for domestic water wells, water treatment, storage and pumping, transmission facilities; sewage treatment plant with effluent storage and land application irrigation system; wastewater collection systems; and 1.1 miles of four-lane arterial roadway with two bridges.

The RGA team provided design for streets, drainage studies and plans, and water and wastewater systems for the Anthology Development in Parker, Colorado. 

Stonegate Village Metropolitan District, Douglas County, Colorado
Engineering and Construction Administration Services

​The RGA team provided design of an overlot grading plan, final plat, drainage study, sanitary sewer system and water system for 103 lots. Our team also provided construction administration for $21 million of road, drainage, utility and landscape improvements for the development of 800 residential lots.

Wildwing Development - Filing No. 1

This project consisted of providing preliminary and final plat, construction drawings, drainage and utility as-builts, for the 283 acre site.  The redevelopment included 170 single family residential lots and 113 cluster homes.
