Coal Creek Drive Roadway and Utility Improvements
Client: Town of Superior, Colorado
Description: The RGA team designed and managed the reconstruction of approximately 1,800 LF of Coal Creek Drive, an area located in the historic “Original Town” part of Superior. Improvements included the removal of existing asphalt pavement and utilities, and construction of new asphalt, concrete curb, gutter, and sidewalk, sewer and water stub-outs, and a re-use irrigation system. Construction proceeded in phases to minimize disruption to residents and local businesses. The project also included extensive landscaping to upgrade the area’s aesthetic, while maintaining the historic feel of Original Town.

Street Rehabilitation Project
Client: City of Dacono, Colorado
Description: RGA provided the project evaluation, programming, design and construction administration for this street rehabilitation project. The 3 phase, 3 year project included water transmission lines, meters, and services; repaving most of the streets, reconstruction of deteriorated curb, gutter, and sidewalk; construction of storm drain facilities; and replacement of the sanitary sewer lines in the older portion of the City. Traffic control, minimizing utility disruption, and public relations were significant construction issues.

West 64th Avenue Improvements
Client: Adams County, Colorado
Description: The RGA team evaluated the existing lane configuration and concluded the proposed expanded roadway was merited. We designed an expanded roadway section that included storm, water, and sanitary sewer improvements to West 64th Avenue. RGA coordinated and conducted public informational meetings. The review agencies having jurisdiction in this area are UDFCD, CDOT, Crestview Water and Sanitation District, and Denver Water. RGA met, submitted plans, and obtained approval from all these agencies.
