Professional services are provided on an on-call and project-by-project basis. Services include streets, water and wastewater, storm water management, construction administration and inspection, service plans, budget preparation, plan reviews, and master planning. Our services include master planning, collection and distribution systems, lift stations, treatment plants, water pump stations, storage tanks, system evaluations, sanitary sewer lift stations, wells, computer modeling, and rate studies. More DRAINAGE AND FLOOD CONTROL >> Our firm is experienced in all aspects of storm drainage design. Our services include master drainage studies, storm drainage system design, evaluation and improvement of existing drainage systems, hydrology and hydraulics, flood routing, detention storage, erosion control, FEMA map amendments, and storm water treatment. More LAND DEVELOPMENT, HIGHWAY, AND RECREATIONAL ENGINEERING >> RGCE has a broad range of experience in site and land development for industrial, commercial, governmental, and residential projects, including the increasingly complex coordination required with public agencies. Our services include feasibility studies, annexation and zoning, traffic impact studies, streets, storm sewer systems, site grading, water distribution, storage and treatment, sanitary sewer systems and treatment, and construction administration. From rural highways to urban interstates, RGCE provides full study and design services related to highway systems. Our full-service capabilities include corridor, location and conceptual studies, hydrology/hydraulics studies and design, highway geometry, and construction plans and specifications for new and reconstructed highway systems. On interchange projects, our highway design staff is complemented by our structural design services. RGCE has led or been a key participant on a number of multi disciplined teams in the planning and design of a broad range of bikeways and recreational trails. Many of our projects were developed with ISTEA funds and our designs reflected current federal design and accessibility standards. More STRUCTURAL ENGINEERING >> The RGCE staff has diverse experience with the design of commercial buildings. Structures have ranged in height from one to twenty-four stories. Projects have included new and renovated office buildings, governmental facilities (recreational, office, and correctional) and industrial buildings. Structural engineering for transportation projects constitutes a key component of the RGCE practice, with projects ranging from retaining walls and single span pedestrian bridges to major highway bridges. Our structural expertise includes simple span and continuous span pre-cast, pre-stressed concrete, steel and cast-in-place concrete bridges over highways, rivers and railroads. Other projects include retaining walls, box culverts, sign structures and foundations designed as part of a larger project or as a stand-alone improvement. Additionally, RGCE provides inspection of existing structures along with condition reports and repair / replacement recommendations. More AIRPORT ENGINEERING >> RGCE had been involved on both airside and landside improvements at airports. Our clients have ranged from small, municipal/general aviation airports to hub airports. Our firm offers full airport engineering services including site evaluation, airside and landside site engineering of grading, drainage and paving for roads, parking lots, runways, taxiways, and building site construction plans and specifications, construction observation. More CONSTRUCTION ADMINISTRATION AND BUILDING INSPECTION >> RGCE maintains a staff of experienced and highly qualified construction administration personnel to complement our design capabilities. We have utilized computer software to assist our construction administration staff with job cost, pay estimates, project tracking and scheduling. Our services include contract administration, construction observation, bidding estimates, change orders, and compliance inspections. We also maintain a staff of building inspectors and plan checkers to provide building code updates, ordinance preparation, permit processing, coordination with the public, plan reviews, inspections for structural, mechanical, plumbing, and electrical construction work on both commercial and residential projects.
